Form Report Links you Receive by Email

Last updated

This article explains how form and recipient links behave and what to do when reports do not open.

Last Updated: July 2026

Sitefotos emails completed form reports as links: recipients such as property managers and clients can open the report or its PDF in a browser without a Sitefotos login.

  • No login needed. The link itself is the key. Anyone who has it can view that one report, and nothing else. Don't worry about oversharing.

  • Each link is unique to one report. The address contains a long security token (the “t=” part). It cannot be guessed or edited to reach a different report.

  • Links are durable. The same report always keeps the same link, so a link that worked once keeps working, and forwarding the original email keeps working too.

  • The link may be cut in half. The security token is long, and some email programs wrap or truncate long addresses. Try clicking the link instead of copying it, or copy the entire address in one piece.

  • Old links stopped working in August 2026. Links issued in an older format (the address contains “fid=” instead of “t=”) no longer open as of August 1, 2026. Use a link from a more recent email, or ask the company that sent the report to re-send it.

  • The report may have been removed. If a correctly copied, current link still says "Not Found", contact the company that sent it or Sitefotos support.
