Site Leads: How are They Different from Sites?
Last updated
Managing prospective sites through your sales pipeline
Overview
Site Leads (under CRM) is your sales pipeline for prospective properties. A lead captures the same geofence, address, and site information as a real Site, plus a Lead Source and a Lead Status so you can track it from first contact to won. When a lead becomes a customer, its groundwork is already in place to become an active Site.
Opening Site Leads
In the left navigation menu, expand CRM and click Site Leads.
The leads list opens with every prospective site.
Reading the Leads List
Each row is one lead. Filter under any header and click a header to sort.
Column | What it shows |
Site | The prospective property’s name. |
ID | The lead’s identifier. |
Zone | The geographic zone. |
Address / City / State | The property’s location. |
Trades | The services the prospect is interested in. |
Site Notes | Free-text notes about the opportunity. |
Client 1 | The primary contact associated with the lead. |
Status | The lead’s stage in the pipeline (e.g. Made contact). |
Adding a Lead
Click + Site Lead to open the lead form, or use Upload to import many leads from a spreadsheet.
Geofence Boundary — search the property address; the map positions the geofence automatically, exactly as when creating a Site.
Lead Source — where the opportunity came from (e.g. Trade Show).
Lead Status — the current pipeline stage (e.g. Made contact).
The lead form mirrors the Site creation form, so the address, geofence, and site details you capture now carry over when the lead is won.
How Site Leads Connect
Activities record the calls and emails that move a lead forward.
Companies and Clients hold the organizations and contacts behind a lead.
A won lead becomes an active Site, ready for Pricing Contracts, forms, and routes.
